our story

The carpet industry has been a part of the Robbins family for three generations.  Beginning over 40 years ago with a small retail shop to now wholesaling carpet nationwide, the Robbinses have a wealth of knowledge within the industry.  However, a few years ago when there was a personal need for a designer rug, brothers Matt and Whit, became frustrated with the high retail mark-ups that are prevalent in the industry.  So, after paying too much for a designer rug, the brothers made some calls to contacts within the carpet industry in search of a solution.  Thus, Rugs by Robbins (RxR) was born.  By leveraging the buying power of the wholesale company and eliminating the high mark-ups, RxR is able to offer below market pricing on Tuftex, Shaw, Nourison, and Karastan rugs, among other manufacturers.

We will provide you with the highest of quality designer rugs at a fraction of the retail cost.  If you find a lower price anywhere on one of our products, we will beat the price by 10%.

processing & Shipping

The rug you order is made just for you. Therefore, it often takes up to three weeks from the date you place your order to the date of delivery. Also, since our rugs are very large items, we ship to freight terminals and ship via Southeastern Freight Lines. Thus, you will be responsible for picking your rug up at the closest SEFL terminal. This is much more economical and SEFL, most likely, has a terminal very close to you. If you would like your rug delivered curbside to your address, please contact us for a shipping quote.
